Anderson House Anderson House is our largest residence and was named in honour of Dr J. M. Anderson who had the vision for what is now the HMSC. It can accommodate 50 people in dormitory style rooms on the second floor, as well as 10 more in five smaller rooms on the third floor. Dining facilities for all courses are located on the ground floor. There is also a comfortable lounge and working areas for residents. Laundry and shower facilities are located in the basement.
Needler Hall Needler Hall is our newest residence, it was named in honour of Dr. A. W. H. Needler who was our first Executive Director. The rooms have one, two, or three beds and a total of 43 people can be accommodated. Two and three bed rooms have two desks with reading lamps for private study. A "wet" entrance in the basement provides space for muddy boots and for wet field wear. Laundry facilities are available in the basement.
Allen Cottage (formerly Guest Cottage) The Ambridge Guest Cottage contains two apartments. Each apartment has two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
Moon Cottage (formerly Graduate Residence) The Graduate Residence is divided into two apartments. The lower one has three bedrooms with bunk beds. The upper one has two bedrooms. Both have kitchen and private bathroom facilities.
South Hall (formerly Stable House) The ground floor apartment has two bedrooms, each has two single beds.
Scott House (formerly Carriage House) Scott House contains two apartments. The lower apartment with three separate bedrooms, a large eat-in living room with kitchen area, and bathroom. The upper apartment is similar but with only two bedrooms.
